While traveling I ended up using a service that was not particularly advanced, but it worked in a way that felt very intentional, and that simplicity made a stronger impression than expected. There were no extra layers or unnecessary steps, which made the entire interaction feel controlled from start to finish. It highlighted how simplicity can sometimes outperform complexity in real use cases.

The company was Only Sardinia Autonoleggi, and I found it while looking beyond platforms like Booking and Rentalcars, which made me realize how easy it is nowadays to find alternatives that are not immediately visible. Compared to Europcar or Avis, the process felt more direct which reduced the need for extra verification at each step. That difference was subtle but noticeable.

It made me reflect on how often simplicity is treated as a secondary goal when it could be the main advantage...
