Drillers offsiders, what jobs do you usually go for/makes it easier to apply for?

Hi i recently had my first swing as a drillers offsider Diamond drilling. I havent had to pull many rods yet as im on a new rig and drillers is not all about being as quick as possible.

I really want to be a dump truck operator or water carry operator as they pay pretty good.

Side note; not sure why people say its one of the hardest jobs ever? Yeah RC and AC is prob hard, but diamond? Especially in new rig seems pretty chill. However i do understand what people mean by saying you are the drillers dog lol.

Looking to buy a new phone while doing FIFO (AUS)

Hi, yep thats right i do Fifo and in my off week i have the choice to go to countries like Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Japan or Thailand etc etc.

Now im looking for flagship phones, like Xiaomi 17 ultra, Samsung Galaxy Ultra 26, iPhone 17 pro max or flip phones with multiple screen. Im only willing to go 1 year down. Meaning buying the last gen so that would be Samsung Galaxy s25. So no suggestions that is not flagship or 1 year later down please.

Im currently in Bali, Ubud and will be in Kuta in a few days. But chatgpt said Thailand and Vietnam has the cheapest phones.

So does anyone know where you can get the lowest price? I know UAE is apparently the cheapest, but flight wise from Australia, Perth its exspensive.

Hi so ive lost some weight these past 1.5 months ish. But now that that i lost that one day i decided to eat good at a market that was last last Saturday and ever since then ive been hungry even though i went above my calorie intake. Is it because i cut too aggresive and now im getting the full effect off that?

Very annoying since i just feel hungry hungry. Like my ghrelin is out of control lol.

I did omad and then switched a bit over to just eating regularly and that might be the increase in ghrelin as omad decrease ghrelin hormone as far as i know.

Hi im gonna be drillers offsider in a smaller company. We are like 30 people in the company and there is 3 other companies on site bringing us to 60 people in total.

I talked to a guy yeasterday who had been a RC offsider and seemed like there was a lot of tools you need to remeber. And i can just imagine myself running around like a headless chicken but not know wtf they mean by thoese tools. Im From Denmark so when they saying all sorts of tools and things i need to pick up. It would be nice to know what tools it is i will be working with and what my job will look like so im not as i said running around like a dumb fucker.

Hi I'm trying to find the most cost effective meal. I do OMAD (one meal a day) so I need something that can fill me up (191cm/6'3 and weigh 97kg/213lbs)

I was thinking the Rotisserie chicken + buy a big bag of rice to get cost down + some kinda vegetables

There is also the potato salad with 1.3kg for 9.99$ AUD

Well aware the most cost effective in Costco is the food court, BUT it would be nice to have other options to go for

Also I live in a hostel in Australia (yes we do have the same things as in the US and EU)
