Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with an international salary transfer and wanted to check if anyone has experienced something similar.

My salary was sent via Wise on 30th April from my employer to my account in State Bank of India.

According to Wise:

• The money has already reached SBI
• Status shows it has been processed by intermediary banks and delivered to the recipient bank

However, as of today (5th May), the amount is still not credited to my account.

What’s confusing is:

• Two of my colleagues (same sender, same date, same bank – SBI) have already received their salary
• Only my transaction seems to be delayed

I also visited my SBI branch, but they asked me to wait till tomorrow and come back if it’s still not credited.

My questions:

• Has anyone faced a similar issue where SBI received funds but didn’t credit them?
• Is this likely a forex/compliance hold or inward remittance issue?
• Should I escalate immediately or wait another day?

Additional details:

• Amount: 991.12 EUR
• Transfer date: 30 April
• Purpose: Salary
• Wise shows: “Your money has arrived at your bank and should be credited to your account soon”
