CGPA grading system

so according to the gradex app, if i ace my end sems, I'll have a GPA of 8 points for this sem. now is this projection based on absolute grading? and if it is, will it be the actual system in end sems or will it be relative grading? and if it is relative grading, how much difference might it make? is it a good thing and how does it work?

im in my first year (second sem) of biotechnology core. my first sem GPA was 8.61. second sem is almost about to end with the only exams left being FT 4 and end sems. my GPA for second sem (as of now) is at 7.1 (calculus, PPS and biochem are just not for me). i'll try my best to lock in for FT 4 and end sems to cover it back to 8.6 or 9 to maintain my first sem GPA as it is, if not increase it. however, it is very very difficult rn and i want to know one thing. if i fail to maintain it at 8.61 and if it drops to, lets say, 8 or something, will i have enough time in the next three years to increase my CGPA to 9+ or something like 9.2 etc?

another thing is, what exactly is relative grading? and does it really make a difference? like take my case for example. ideally if i maintain the pace i am in rn, my GPA will drop drastically to 8 or something. now what difference will relative grading do? and will it be enough to bring a huge difference or is it just unreliable copium material?
