Potential ravenwing speeder army for 11th? Opinions.
Is anyone else looking at the detachments we've had teased so far and thinking a massive speeder army list could be viable? Combining the ravenwing speeder detachment spoiled for DA alongside the generic speeder detachment will cost 2 detachment points, so we'd even have a spare point for something else. That'd give us turn 1 deepstrike or arrive from reserves and ignores cover for all our speeders guns. Enhancements would let 1 landspeeder vengeance re roll the attacks roll and hazardous rolls for its plasma. The enhancement from the generic SM codex would let us re roll attacks and damage rolls for a 2nd speeder unit, probably best on a thunderstrike/hammerstrike. 2 reactive move strategems of D3+3 available as well. Am I crazy or does a turn 2 alpha strike with ravenwing flyers backed up by some cheap action monkeys to do secondaries and maybe DWK's to hold the midboard sound quite feasible for 11th?
