before anyone asks, to be honest i don't have much issue with the redesigns anymore, even if i'm more attatched to the cartoony looks i can say the realistic aimed designs are quite good, the Starfox team themselves look quite good (even if Falco looks a bit off in some areas)
however one design ill never fully understand the drastic change for is Katt.

I get the change in face shape absolutely, i get the change in outfit too, the biggest confusion to me however is why they got rid of the mostly pink colour for her fur, especially with how even with the changes they made they were sure to make the rest of the cast accurate to their original designs.

i get it, the game is meant to be in a more serious realistic tone but keep in mind these are anthro animals here, i feel like if they kept Katt the same pink (or maybe even a more muted pink) akin to her original design with this appearance it wouldn't look as strange.
i can get behind the change in the face shape and stuff i just really don't understand the colour change and it makes me a bit worried for if they ever bring back krystal because if shes not blue thats going to feel incredibly weird.

though thats literally my only problem with katts new design, the pink removal from her colour-scheme combined with how she seems to be written makes me worry shes just gonna seem like a completely different character in this remake.

im open to seeing how it goes though, because i hope things will be good in this retelling.

I've seen it mentioned in some places but not as much as the design changes (for the record, as iffy as i am on some of the designs, i can see them growing on me, though they seem more like a "they should go back to them to polish them up" situation).

the real thing i'm worried about with the starfox reboot is how bland the dialogue feels.

some of it is fine don't get me wrong, some new lines here and there are okay (especially Falco telling Leon to crawl under a rock) but a lot of the dialogue feels so bland and uninteresting, in both delivery and in actual writing.

biggest example being Falcos reaction to seeing Corneria being destroyed just being "Andross really trashed the place", when in the original his line of "this is horrible" got you to see hes not just a simple one note smug bird, he cares for the citizens in danger.

and with other line deliveries and changes, like Katt being basically just bland in the delivery of her telling which side to cover and Bill not being all hyped up to have the UFO taken down, its worrying.

i genuinely want to be proven wrong about my worries to do with dialogue but i worry this reboot will just have the characters sounding pretty bland.
