For those of you who are considering ever purchasing storage from InterNext: I used to be one of their customers. I had a lifetime subscription several years ago, and I shan't bother you with all the details but it was absolute crap. Total and utter misery - nothing worked.
They had apology after promise that everything would be fixed, but it never happened. (Some issues remain to this very day (!))
Through actions from myself and other people on Reddit, I was able to finally get rid of Internxt. You'll have to look up my previous post on that subject, but here is just to show how utterly incompetent Internxt really is.
I wanted my account to be terminated. Now, In Europe, under the GDPR, a company is required to fulfill that request. They can't hold on to your data, if you no longer want your data to be stored.
So I filled in a request, sent it off, and I assumed that the process was automated. I checked and I was still able to log on. So I posted another request - three times in total - and I waited several weeks. Then, on a whim I decided I wanted to check, and lo and behold, I can still log on to Internxt.
Their usual sycophantic response is: please send a DM… but if people keep doing this, nothing is ever going to change.
So here is a warning: no matter how good the deal sounds - steer clear of Internxt. They’ll 💩 on your privacy (and every customer right)
