In my honest opinion, I think Riddle might probably reduce minimum contact with his mother and only maintain contact with his father once he becomes an adult and chooses his future career. But I don't know if Riddle's mother will change so easily once she realizes her son isn't talking to her anymore. But at least he'll be living his life normally without hearing his mother calling him "ungrateful" just for not contacting her anymore. I mean, can you blame him though?

This is just a Headcanon I have in my head.
