Thrifted this leather jacket and am wondering if these are mold spots or something else. I scrubbed them with a 1:1 solution of water and rubbing alcohol, and it didn't seem to make a difference. If someone knows what this is and what I can do about it, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Can anyone tell me about this plate I found at Goodwill? Unsure if it was actually produced in 1908; seems to be a wooden lacquered Chinese plate based on some very light research. If someone has more insight I'd really appreciate it!
