Hi. I drive a 2010 subaru forester (non turbo). I've had an issue where the radiator is pushing coolant back into the coolant tank. We drained it the other day and replaced the thermostat, put new coolant back in the tank to the full line (which is not where it is pictured, it is beyond full here) and put coolant back in the radiator. The problem just happened again when I have to drive it. This problem has my husband and father in law stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Added note, I had the head gaskets done a couple years ago, the oil isnt a milky color and when my headgaskets failed, I couldn't keep any coolant whatsoever in my car.
