Hi all. I had a rental contract with a well known company in Berlin and have been living in the current apartment for 3.5 years. This month, my rental payment returned back to me and when I asked, the company told me that they have cancelled their contract with the owner of the apartment, therefore they do not handle the apartment anymore. They gave me a physical address (no email address) to contact. How do I ensure that I do not get any fines for late payment etc. in this situation? I have the amount ready to pay, but have no bank address to send the money to. Also, should I require new contract with the owner now? I guess I should not pay to any IBAN without signing a contract with the owner?
