Island Editor: A solution to a couple small issues
Problem A: Late game, players end up with more coins and shards than they will ever need, sitting around and doing nothing in the bank.
Problem B: Islands are a hassle to decorate and customize.
Solution: Island Editor Mode. Priced insanely high (my original thought was 1b but even that seems low at a point lategame) and unlocked at level 75, this mode would work similarly to the floor painting feature and the clubbox DJ combined.
You would be able to easily place decorations en masse similar to the paths and move the monsters by dragging for further simplicity. This would have the added benefit of giving the option of any previously bought/placed decoration, including seasonal decor, prizes, and trophies.
The clubbox DJ would be able to control the volume of any monster family (if I lower noggin, all noggins, rare noggins, and epic noggins will lower in volume). The DJ would also have the added benefit of a few audio controls such as panning and overall island volume control.
Reaches (things that maybe need consideration or tweaking. Not a part of my idea but could be cute):
- other audio effects such as reverb, compression, equalizer, etc.
- ability to make clones/holograms of monsters (they share the same data and make the same coin amount but can be used for a symmetrical look or a specific design)
- exclusive decorations
- full glowbe color customization
- control over when (what measure) monsters play their tracks (can be used to slightly alter a song or to change it entirely)
Thank you for reading! It's not fully fleshed out but I think it would be fun
