Went to Five Rivers a couple of weeks ago early in the morning to do some light birding. Ended up being a very productive outing.

Yes, the 3rd to last shot is a bald eagle. I have a couple more shots of it, but none much clearer. I was behind a treeline when it swooped out over the water, and I had to panic and try and get a shot. Complete luck I got anything at all!

Shots taken on a Sony a900 with a Sigma DG 50-500mm APO OS HSM (the Bigma).

Went to Washington Park yesterday with some other local photographers. Took some closeup shots, and thought I might as well post here since others were doing the same.

I took these photos on a Sony a900 with a Minolta 70-210mm f/4 "Beercan" lens. Processed them as RAWs in Darktable.
