I keep losing buildings because we do our job. How to avoid that?
I built this company, and have 5 employees working. We manage around 100 different buildings, with a total of 1500ish units. In Turkey, if they want to work with you, land owners should vote and sign for you on a paper(ex, 30 units in one building, need 16 votes).
It is hard to get new buildings, but easy to lose. Before we sign, I tell everyone if any guy misses their payment and doesn't contact us or contacts but doesn't hold up their promise then we lawyer up. Before lawyering up, we are sending last message about lawyering up by the way.
Well, people get mad and threaten us so we can't go to the building. People always side with their neighbours in building. Even if they agreed on what we did. They curse us, threaten us, swear at us yet expect us to return polite answers. Most of the time try to explain to them but mostly this fails and I tell them to speak with our lawyer and shut the phone. They spam building's WhatsApp group chat. People side with them and we lose the job. Even if I behave calmly all the time this happens. I can smell crazy people and don't pick up the phone, instead asking them in writing what they want so I can show people as proof. This fails too because people don't care if we do our job right. People are missing their payments, gas bill havent paid. Lawyer collects, everything is fine but people get mad because I did not pay from my pocket and made them pay much more because of the lawyer.
To me there is no real answer, but perhaps you guys could show me some insight?
