Planning a solo Yosemite backpacking trip for early September and wanted to sanity check my permit + route.

Current plan is:

Happy Isles
Camp past LYV first night
Merced Lake
Emeric Lake
Evelyn Lake
Tuolumne Meadows resupply/rest day
Cathedral Lakes
Sunrise Lakes
Clouds Rest
Back down into the Valley

Total route is about 58 miles / 13k elevation gain.

A few questions:

  1. Is “Happy Isles -> Past LYV (Donohue Pass Eligible)” the correct permit for this route?
  2. Does this pacing seem reasonable for ~9–10 days with a full pack?
  3. In early September, is the Tuolumne Meadows store usually reliable enough for a food resupply? Mainly wondering if they typically still stock backpacking/freeze dried meals that time of year.
  4. How realistic is it to get this permit during the 7-day rolling release?

Included a screenshot of the route.
