[Highlight] PAGES HAMMERS a 2-1 PITCH FOR A TWO-RUN HOME RUN! HIS 9TH OF THE YEAR!

Big Brain Pages chooses not to challenge what would be a 3-0 pitch, so he would instead getting a better 2-1 pitch to hit instead (maybe??) instead of tempting the pitcher to 4 pitch walk him - one of the most dangerous batters in the line up at the moment!

Has anyone else noticed that Yoshi is struggling a lot in the first inning of his outings - often giving up hard contact and earned runs, but then locking in.

This discrepancy is far greater than any other Dodger pitcher and also the league. The answer isn’t just “he’s facing their top 3 hitters in the first inning” - otherwise other pitchers would also have the same pattern of struggling in the 1st.

Why has Yoshi been touched up in the 1st - not only in the last couple of years, but also in 2026? Does this concern you in his Cy Young campaign?

Yes I know Game 7 of World Series ended on a double play - but that was a more routine 6-3 DP. Not rare like this video or yesterday’s 4 unassisted DP that ended the game vs the Marlins.

As a side note, row S and further (T, U etc) field level are GOAT shaded seats for day games - especially on 3B side.
