Hello and happy OT month,
I love this job but I think I can use my strengths in better places. I’m looking for advice which will better suit the flexibility and work life balance for kids and family.
For context;
I am a Male who has 7 years of leadership background from the Marine corps and have been a therapist for 5 years.
I’m thinking about going either going the manager route or going into teaching?
I love to mentor and lead a team to their fullest potential and also enjoy teaching and helping people understand what we do as OTs and teaching the foundation of human anatomy/neuro science.
Was hoping to see if there are any managers or professors that’s can give me insight into their home life. Do you enjoy it, and are you able to juggle work life?
Thank you for your time and consideration ❤️
