Hi guys,

I have an Audi Q7 2016, driven around 210,000 km. It needs some work done, mainly AC-related and a few minor inner car parts replacement

My previous mechanic was overcharging for no real reason, so I’m looking for someone genuine and reasonably priced in Sharjah who knows Audi/German cars well

Please recommend a reliable garage or mechanic. Thank you

Hi everyone,
I’m considering buying a 2016–2017 Toyota Land Cruiser, and I’ve noticed a lot of sellers in Dubai are selling ones that have been facelifted/uplifted to the newer 2022–2025 LC300 look

I’ve checked a few cars at garages and mechanically they seem fine. The idea of buying a 2016/2017 LC with the newer look is tempting, especially since these cars are usually ranging around AED 80k–100k, depending on condition
I had two genuine questions for the group:
Legality: Is there any issue with these facelift/uplift conversions in Dubai/UAE in terms of RTA passing, insurance, or registration?
Looks/value: Do these conversions usually look obviously fake or “wannabe,” or can they actually look clean if done properly?
I genuinely don’t want to make a stupid purchase where people look at the car and immediately know it’s an older LC trying to look new. I’m okay with it if the car is mechanically clean and the conversion is tastefully done, but I’d really appreciate honest opinions from people who know Land Cruisers well
Would you buy one, or would you avoid facelifted Land Cruisers completely?
Thanks in advance
