I bought an Octavia 21 plate from a Kia dealership on Saturday. It works fine other than the infotainment system which (in my opinion) has some serious issues. I haven’t managed to get in contact with the salesman yet to discuss, but:

I really hate the car. What are my options here? Is there any possibility I can hand the car back? Or am I going to have to sell it at a loss and get something else? I’ve spent all my money on this car and have a family, so things are tight!

I feel like I’m losing my mind here!!

I’ve just purchased a 2021 Octavia which I’m a little underwhelmed by. But the infotainment system seems very odd. Connecting to CarPlay was not easy. The built in sat nav randomly doesn’t allow postcodes which is the primary way anyone would search an address so I need to use Apple Maps or Waze.

HOWEVER: I genuinely feel like this car blocks my phone signal which means I can’t use any CarPlay features. It’s really weird! My phone has no signal when I’m in the car, but it does when I get out. Is something switched on meaning that happens? What the hell is going on?! Please help!!!!!
