Hi everyone,

I'm struggling with an OpenGL issue and hope someone has faced this before.

Setup:

• Host: VMware ESXi, 8.0.3, 24585383 (GPU via DirectPath I/O passthrough).
• GPU: NVIDIA L40S.
• VM: Windows Server 2025 (Terminal Server / RDSH).
• Driver: Latest NVIDIA Datacenter Driver (596.36)

The Issue: OpenGL applications won't start. They claim there is "no GPU or driver with OpenGL 4.6 support" available within the RDP session. For example: Blender

What I've tried:

• GPO "Use hardware graphics adapters for all Remote Desktop Services sessions" is ENABLED.
• RemoteFX is enabled.
• DirectPath I/O is configured and the card is recognized in Device Manager.

Questions: How do I get this setup to work properly? Do I need a different driver or specific settings to enable OpenGL support for RDP sessions in this configuration?
