How reliable is EnChroma?
Until relatively recently I discovered that I am apparently colorblind or that I have less sensitivity to certain colors (This is because I pass the Farnsworth tests, but fail the Ishihara tests). I've been doing various tests on different websites and I've noticed that EnChroma is widely used here. The fact is that the website has given me very varied but consistent results within a range of color sensitivity (blue 100%, green between 85% and 100%, and red between 25% and 50%) And because of these margins of error, diagnoses range from moderate/mild protan to partial red blindness. The thing is, I want to know if there's a more accurate way to get a diagnosis.
In case you're wondering, yes, I went to a specialist but it didn't help much. He told me to take the Farnsworth test and that it's difficult to get a colorblind diagnosis in adults, since it's usually discovered and diagnosed in children.
And please excuse me if what I wrote isn't clear; I'm using the built-in translation tool on my phone's keyboard.
