WIP, portrait in Oil Pastel, Gel Pen, and Color Pencil ✏️ 🤠

Hello!! I’m new to portrait drawing and want to improve on my facial feature skills. I’m afraid of attempting to even color the face in because
(at least with the current pencils/pastels I use) sometimes the colors get muddy..anyway I guess I’m trying to ask for feedback or if I should even color in the face. Thank you!

Does anyone else miss Boscos eyebrows? Just thinking bout her looks from last seasons appearance on All stars and then found this reference foto on Pinterest and got inspired. Thanks for being here ✨💜

Hey yall! I love drawing portraits but sometimes feel like I run into the same problems as far as trying to get a likeness of a person but then it ends up different in my “style” I guess. I’m happy how this one came out but I guess my question is how do I get better at using oil pastel crayons for faces?

2nd photo a little closer up in different lighting. Pic 3 is when I used color pencils to map out where I saw light and darker areas.

I used gel pen, color pencils, and oil pastels. Reference photo is from Pinterest. What do yall think?
