i cant remember ANYTHING about the book (possibly a series?), but i remember the main antagonist had these minions he either summoned or created, called the Gray Men, as well as referred to by a different name that i also cant remember.

its been years since ive been able to find the book, and not knowing is killing me.

the protagonist is a girl, i think, and the antagonist was a prince of some kind?
