Has anyone else gotten this scam? I got a call from someone claiming to be from my internet provider. They asked me if I lost internet in the last 24 hours. I have Xfinity so of course the internet dropped in the last 24 hours. They went on for like 3 minutes about how my firewall was compromised. It felt fishy so I asked if they could tell me my account number and they panicked and hung up. I get a scam call every couple of weeks but this is new I wish they would stayed on the line a little longer since I’m not sure what the angle would be since if there was an issue with the Xfinity “firewall” wouldn’t they just send me another one or send someone out if they couldn’t do it remotely? I’m just curious if anyone has ran into this scam.

I absolutely hate how parking lots and decks are going to these ticketless camera systems just be able to boot your car and send you fees. In the last month every single one of my parking experiences have been ass. I got booted in a tiny lot and when I asked how was I supposed to pay they guy said “you should of used this app” and pointed a spot on the building where a poster for the app USED TO BE. almost committed murder on the spot. Then I got a bill in the mail because I didn’t pay “within the grace period” the deck was 6 stories tall and they give 10 minutes to not only park but sign up for there bullshit and pay. They changed be $40 for two hours and then had the audacity to send me a bill for $60 because I didn’t pay fast enough🙃🙃🙃🙃
