Dr. Anika Irving, a jaded wildlife biologist, is shown a video depicting a small birdlike creature with reptilian features. An animal no one had seen for millions of years, hidden somewhere in the depths of Tasmania. After trekking into the wilderness along with a camera crew, they soon learn some animals should be left alone and are beyond humanity's understanding.

Experience a blend of wildlife biology, wildlife TV show stardom, and paleontology. I spent a total of three years writing this and I’m so glad it’s finally out. As a massive fan of Michael Crichton’s works, I wrote a novel after being disappointed by the lack of science thriller dinosaur content.
