Need some In sight as to what to do in my situation

I have been dealing with stomach issues for just over a year now. It started back last march when I came down with an infection and had stomach pain along with fever, nausea, fatigue, etc. after a few days the fever and fatigue went away. But after eating meals I would still get stomach discomfort and nausea, I have gone through countless tests from both my pcp and gi doctor. From an endoscopy, to h pylori tests, sibo test, blood tests, digestive enzyme tests, stool tests, an ekg, ecg, chest x ray, and also a stomach emptying test. With all those coming back normal, my gi doctor recommended me to get my gallbladder checked out. First I had an ultrasound done and that came back normal with no stones on my gallbladder, after that he wanted me to get a hida scan done, I got that done and it came back as 25% efficiency, for context I am a 21 year old male that hasn’t had any history of stomach issues before this. My question to all of you is, do you think surgery is the right next step? I went to meet with a surgeon and he told me he typically doesn’t operate on patients whose percentage is above 25%. I know that one percent doesn’t really mean anything in terms of the whole scheme of things, but my mom seems very hesitant about the whole idea of getting surgery done. For me through, it’s a super hard position to be in, I feel like I have had multiple “attacks” over the course of the past few months, where I will eat something and hours later will get really bad stomach discomfort and nausea to the point where I feel like if I move I’ll puke, I usually take zofran and it goes away after a couple hours, typically these happen later at night after dinner. I haven’t been able to live my life the past couple months, I get anxious when getting asked to go out to eat, I have trouble going on trips not knowing how I am gonna feel, and I find myself sitting in bed a lot of the time when I really wanna be out doing things. I am an extrovert and a go getter but ever since these issues have started I haven’t been myself. Just looking for some insight and different perspectives on what you guys would do in my situation! Thanks so much!
