Not sure if I should go back to my practitioner
So I had my first appointment last Friday. She went in 2 mm all over with a mix of Vitamin C, Vitamin A and Hyaluronic Acid/Aloe.
I didn't use numbing beforehand and it hurt like a mofo, not gonna lie. I thought my pain tolerance was higher 😅
Afterwards I got a Meder Red-Apax mask that stayed on for a good while.
The device that was used looked more like a Tatto device?
I do have a Dr. Pen at home but wanted to start with a professional first, to get a feel for everything. My cartridges look a lot different, but then again, it's a home device...
Redness was okay aferwards, thought it would be worse, tbh. Except for a few streaks around the base of my neck and a bit of soreness, I feel fine.
But now that I've read through here, her usage of actives does concern me. what do y'all think?
