‘94 trek singletrack. Stripped down to the frame and rebuilt. Dream rat bike!

-1x9 shimano cues drivetrain & cassette
- cane creek 40 headset
- surly sunriser bars (love them so far!)
- 50-50 seatpost and WTB seat (kept the original seat clamp <3)
- original cantis, and original Shimano “pills”!
- salmon kool stop brake pads (they’re epic)
- original brake levers (solid metal feels so good)
- carver 26 in rigid steel fork to match the steel frame
- 26 inch weinmann 519 wheelset
- panaracer comet hard pack 26x2.10 tires
This was a project that I had been excited about for about a year. Took my time sourcing parts and only got things on absurd sales, didn’t always get the parts I dreamed of but it made the project much more economical. Extremely happy with how it turned out. Shoutout to my local trek (alewife, Cambridge) who helped educate me, source parts and tune it up! Just wanted to share with the community :) please let me know what you think and if I can add anything else to make it a better town cruiser. I bring this bike on rides with my girlfriend when I’m not riding my enduro bike and to cruise around towns we visit, exploring cafes and rail trails.
