Hi everyone,
I applied to both colleges and got accepted to St. Lawrence and waitlisted at Algonquin. I ended up choosing St. Lawrence for Practical Nursing, but now Algonquin has also sent me an acceptance and I’m feeling really confused.
Algonquin was always my first choice, but I convinced myself that Kingston might be a better fit because of smaller class sizes and more focused training. Now that I actually got into Algonquin, I don’t know if I should switch or stick with St. Lawrence.
I’m from Toronto, so I’ll have to relocate either way. I’ve already secured a single room residence at St. Lawrence, and I’m a 36 y/o female, so that stability is also something I’m considering.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? What did you choose and why?
