I'm a new OW diver with 10 dives... is it akward if I already have a dive computer?

Hi everyone, sorry if the title sounds a bit weird, its my first time posting.
A bit (or a lot) of context: I got certified almost a month ago and now have 10 logged dives in total. Scuba diving has honestly been a dream of mine for a long time, I started asking to get certified when I was 12 and now that I am 22 I finally was able to do it.

I am graduating university this month and as a graduation gift I asked for the AOW course, which my parents agree would be a great gift for me, but they surprised me by also ordering a dive computer online (which has been paid for and delivered to their house as of yesterday). It's a Cressi Neon, apparently my dad has some diver friends who he asked about and they recommended that one.

The thing is… I suddenly feel a little awkward about it? I am supper new, have no experience and I'm still working on my buoyancy. I don’t want to come across as the beginner who shows up with “too much gear” or as someone trying too hard. Having my own computer makes me excited to learn properly, track my dives, and keep diving consistently. I’m not trying to act like an expert or anything, if anything I’m very aware that I’m still a beginner.

So I wanted to ask, is this seen as weird or annoying, or is it mostly in my head? Did anyone else buy any equipment early on?
I am planning on getting my own mask too, but I was going to wait until I got closer to 20 before buying any equipment.

I think I’m overthinking it, but I’d love to hear honest opinions from people who have been in the community longer.
