How long does HanBon usually take to ship after pictures approved?

I'm just wondering because I ordered on the 7th, (with a 20% discount code, it just so happens) then received the email with pictures on the 9th and approved same day..

Now it is the 12th. I asked him if they would ship out yesterday and Yao said yes, tracking number soon, thank you, etc..
Radio silence since.

I am just wondering if this is typical.. granted, it is 4 swords, but all pre-made, non-custom, and they have been ready for 3 days now.

It is already going to take 2 weeks to get here. Just seems like quite the delay.

New Whetstone and Stand Setup

got the stand for $22 on amazon and the whetstone set was about 35 and seems nice.

do you guys think this would be sufficient for sharpening a katana after doing some responsible first-time cutting, if needed?

This is actually an iaito I polished up, including the tang, and put new smoked bamboo mekugi pins after; However, I have a 3 sword set on the way and wanted something capable of shapening swords in a pinch.

Treated the raw wood 3-tier amazon stand with linseed oil and removed the felt pads for the traditional look.

just thought I would share.
after asking for advice on here the other day, I decided to go with all 1060 blades.

a full japanese sword set including katana, wazikashi, and tanto, plus another separate tanto for.. $337 shipped!

big shout out to Yao.
can't wait to see all 4.

so I have decided that I want a three set, including Katana, Wazikashi, and Tanto.
I just so happen to have a coupon code for 20% off at HanBon.

I have been reading on here that 9260 spring steel is quite a bit more flexible due to the silicon in it, however, I would have to order three custom swords in order to get a three set, and that would bump the price up to almost $450 versus $275..

as you can see, I would be able to get all three in 1060 for $265 shipped, and Mr. Yao said he is willing to do all 3 with no groove at no extra cost.

I think I already know the answer, but is there any scenario in which the spring steel is actually worth going for it while I have the 20% discount?

The use-case kind of unknown.. it just depends on how much time I have to do cutting and how much funds I have to buy mats or bamboo.. it will be a very capable sword set that mostly sits on display, but I want it to be fully capable.
