I need both advice and hugs 😭

I just received the devastating news that our second egg collection was a complete fail.. wondering if anyone has experience with poor cycles/degenerated eggs. Is there any hope?

Age: 38
AMH: 1.12 ng/ml
AFC: 7-9
Normal FSH
Tubes not blocked. No known endo.
Chronic Endometritis being treated.
Otherwise unexplained infertility
No sperm issues. Good count. Excellent DNA fragmentation.

First cycle: Gonal F 300 Pergaverus 150
Dominant Follicle by day 2 of Stims (17mm)
Right - 14, 20, 10, 13, 19, 20, 9
Left - 31, 14, 12, 12

Cycle cancelled as they thought I'd get more eggs next time.

Second Cycle: Gonal F 300 Menopur 150 Saizen (omnitrope) 4mg per day during stims.
Moved to Long Down Regulated Cycle. BC for 3 weeks with Syranel Spray
Single Trigger - HCG Ovidrel 250.

Right - 22, 24mm, 12mm, 21mm, 17mm
Left - 18mm, 20mm, 16mm, 17.4

10 eggs collected. 2 mature. 4 immature. 4 GVs. 1 matured in the lab. 2 Failed to fertilize with ICSI.
1 Fertilized Abnormally. Specialist thought it was a trigger issue.

Third Cycle: Gonal F 450

Moved to triple trigger. 2 x Ovidrel 250, 1 x Decapeptypl
Blood test showed estrogen before trigger - 2180 pg/mL
Blood test after trigger showed good LH and Progesterone response.

Everything looked better during this cycle. But just got the call..

6 eggs collected

1 egg was GV's (immature)
1 egg was M1 (Immature)
3 eggs were mature - M2
1 egg was degenerated

At time of ICSI, the x1 M1 egg and x2 of the M2 eggs had degenerated. The remaining M2 was injected with sperm. At fertilisation check the egg had degenerated. Therefore, from this cycle there were no fertilised eggs.

Do I have any chance of using my own eggs to have a family?

So… I’ve been know to have a dominant follicle previously (17mm by day 2 of stims) and a long down regulated cycle lead to being more even but then had high immaturity of eggs (80% even with follicles between 18mm-24mm)… and now we’re at cycle 3 and it looks like I’ve got a bit of a spread happening.

Anyone had something similar… did you sacrifice the 2 leads and others catch up? 🤔

Meds gonal f 450

Right side - 13, 13.6, Less than 10

Left - 17, 17, 12, 13, 9.6, 3 less than 10 (around 9mm)

Soooo hard to not overthink all of this 🙃 but super helpful to hear other stories ❤️

Okay, so I’ve had a bit of a nightmare 2 rounds of stims.. first round was canceled due to a dominant follicle that got way out of control (it was 17mm by day 2 of stims) - we ended up stimming for 12 days to see what happened and the cohort was too spread apart.

Round 2 I was on birth control for 3 weeks and nasal spray to shut off all my hormones. Everything was in sync that cycle, but ended up with 80% immaturity of eggs and they think I was oversuppressed and the single trigger failed (follicles were between 18mm-24mm) estrogen was high, 10 eggs collected.

Round 3 (current cycle) we went back to natural (no suppression) and I was petrified of another dominant follicle buuuut I think we’re doing okay.

Day 7 of stims (day 9 of cycle) ultrasound this morning showed the following

Right ovary - 13.6, 12.2, 3 x less than 10

Left ovary - 12, 11.2, 13.6, 15.3, 3 x less than 10

I don’t even know what I’m asking.. but anyone have any feedback/similar experience?

What are my chances of the sub 10s catching up?

It’s likely I have 4-5 days of stims to go 😁

And we’re going to be doing a triple trigger!
