Hi all…I was abroad for a cultural exchange program and feel in love while there. Before I met my partner I hadn’t seen this place as a long-term place…my aging parents are back home, missed friends, and my job industry doesn’t really exist here and wasn’t super jazzed about ESL. Meeting my partner had me start to rethink everything and into a depression when trying to think about forever here. I made the decision to go home for a job near my old community. My partner and I are going to try long distance for a bit but I’m really anxious about it and going back. and wanted to connect with some people who have gone through the same thing to figure out how to get to a better place with myself and navigate things.
