So we are currently starting an accounting firm, but we are having trouble getting leads locally. Most business owners already have their established and trusted bookkeepers and accountants. I am helping the team get clients but honestly no luck. I feel that since accounting is trust-based, in-person meetings are better. Has anybody had luck finding a bookkeeper just by searching online? Or all are based on referral?
