Is nta/du/bhu/au stupid or sum ?? Why do they use normalised marks instead of using percentiles in the subjects as the method of intake of students... Percentiles are overall a better medium to showcase a student's capability in his domain... For example if a PCM student wants to do Eco hons (cuz he is good in maths(me)) from a good clg in DU he's done for cuz he chose the hardest domains getting 620-650/750 in PCM is nearly impossible and the students who took commerce or humanities subjects as their domain have a upper hand as they've easier subjects (let's be real they are pretty easy) .. whereas using percentiles as a measure would be fair as a student getting 140 in physics for example will get 95+ percentile easily while mfs who statpad 200 in bst for fun will be on 80 something percentile...at the end of the day I don't wanna do some bsc in pcm domains frm du cuz i am actually exhausted with them in my drop year i wanna do something different something related to eco but the cutoffs are way too high idk where I'll end up 😭i don't wanna do btech anymore the engineer in me died this drop year 😢 also is their any use of percentiles of cuet?? Am i missing something??pls lemme know (I don't wanna go to some private uni aswell)
