Just finished rewatching Gabon for the first time in years and I’m just noticing that Randy (The King of Gabon) was unironically quite good in the challenges.

• He scored all 3 points in the water-polo/lacrosse challenge
• He dominated Get a Grip (holding onto pole/wresting) where he berated Paloma as he wrestled her across the line “YOU’RE DONE”
• He was making SNAGS in the fruit-tossing challenge
• He ingeniously shouted “FREEZE ACE” to get Ace to stop moving in the blindfolded ball-stopping (?) challenge to clutch up the win. He had pretty decent chemistry with Dan on that one.
• He hung in there with all the younger fitter guys during Hot Pursuit
• He CAUGHT a TURTLE ???? Not challenge related by some real Tarzan shi
• He broke the ball and won his round in the keep-away reward challenge (he then… grumbled(?) in the direction of Sugar to effectively get her off her game)
• He outlasted the mighty Susie on the log-roll
• He was hilariously correct about how to approach that final hole in the golf challenge and delivered one of the best challenge moments in the shows entire history
• He also CLEANED HOUSE in the auction — Beer and nuts, spaghetti with meat sauce and red wine, and chocolate chip cookies… FOR THE TRIBE, RANDY

NOT TO MENTION this dude was an absolute menace to society and has one of the most unhinged boot episodes ever
