We initially thought of doing 250k down with 5.2% 10 ARM for 700k home, 450k mortgage loan.
We have about 100k cash separately for emergency and moving and home setup costs.
We are planning to sell some RSUs to diversify our portfolio. Plan is to sell 50k stock every year for next 5-10 years.
Should I put that money in S&P or put towards down payment?
Spouse seems to think first year the interest is crazy and we should pay as much down payment as we can.
Any suggestions?
