How to Close Axis Bank card quickly (not activated yet)
Wanted to convert my airtel axis cc trade to neo rupay cc trade.
Called customer care, he said he will convert the existing card and existing history will just be transferred. This was two weeks ago.
Cut to today I received this message
'Upgrade request for Axis Bank Neo Rupay Credit Card has been processed. New Credit Card no. is XX1171. Your previous card will remain active.'
So I reached out to customer care again, now they are saying card transfer is not possible please close the airtel axis bank credit.
Now when I open the portal it has I am not eligible for any new credit card. (ps: my salary account is with axis)
What are my options here ?
How much will the cibil drop if I close the airtel card?
How can I close the neo card quickly without waiting for the 30 day activation period?
