Would moss from my backyard be ok to put in my cornsnake/ crested gecko enclosure. I guess other plants as well. I know for a fact their is no pesticides since my family has owned this house for decades and it’s in the middle of woods lol. If so do I sanitize it?

▲ 101 r/ferrets

I was recently talking to someone else who owns ferrets are they claimed their ferrets have no smell. They even told a potential new owner to ferrets this when they inquired since there was other people living with them. Although I think this narrative is true to some extent, diet, cleanliness ect…. All help and reduce smell I think it’s harmful to tell people ferrets have no smell are can be compared to a cat or dog. They most definitely have a stronger smell than cats or dogs (well maintained ofc) and that’s ok! I think the ferret community take offense to people saying they smell😭😭 one of the biggest reasons ferrets are rehomed is smell and part of that is people saying their is none of you keep up constantly and it just isn’t true. Just wanted to rant on this lol
