NOOB HELP REQUIRED

Don't flame me for this lads! Sorry if my terminology is all over the place here.

Thinking of getting Logic Pro to pair with an MPC sample. Since I know absolutely 0 music theory, does Logic Pro have any features that allow you to insert entire chords into a track, rather than draw them out manually? Hopefully that made sense lol

HELP! Sample vs Live 2

I need help on this ASAP guys! Sorry if my terminology is all over the place here.

So I've been set on getting the MPC Live 2 for about a month now, the only issue is the absolute rarity of this thing on Facebook marketplace where I live is insane! And because of this the prices have gone up by a lot too!

The reasons I wanted the live 2 was obviously for sampling and finger drums, but also having the ability to play all other instruments on the pads also within the built in studio (bass, piano chords etc.). Also, I don't have an ounce of music theory in me, so the feature that allows you to assign actual chords to your buttons was going to help me out immensely, since I don't know how to play chords myself.

Now the sample intrigues me, because of it's ability to sample and finger drum like the live 2. The only issue is that it won't allow me to play other instrumental parts with it because it doesn't have those same studio features as the live 2. I'm more than happy with getting an MPK mini to plug into it off the side to play my bass and chords on, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY CHORDS.

So my main question is: If I were to use the sample (and an mpk mini) in conjunction with let's say Logic Pro on Macbook, does that software have built in features that allow me to just "select chords" to place into my song files? Or will I still need to play/insert the chords manually? I'd also just love to hear all your opinions on these devices too!

Btw, the reason I haven't considered the One or One+ is because I'd really like a portable device that also has an external speaker...
