I get to travel US to Rhodes Greece for a business trip and will have one day free to dive. I am looking for suggestions on destinations or operators. We are open water certified but less than 50 dives total. Travel more than 48 hours after day available. Staying at the Sheraton Rhodes resort if that matters.

Any tips or tricks to get to Ecuador from US? I am originating in Houston and it seems like everything is red-eye/overnight.
Also I am wondering if we should buy now for November. Will the oil issues get better in time for fuel prices to come down?
