Panicking! Please help
I’ve been on this subreddit for a while so I’ve seen heaps of embedded jewelry and people say urgent care asap, etc. I gave it maybe 2 whole years with the original labret, extended, titanium piercing that the studio pierced it with. I waited to downsize as every other week or so I would sleep wrong (on a piercing pillow which I’m still using) and it would get inflamed for a few days before it cooled down again and was normal. I finally went into the pierce shop I got it done at and they downsized it for me. Well I made it 3 nights before I woke up this morning to this. I’m living 6 hours away from my regular pierce shop and need to start the drive home before they open up shop. What should I do?!?! I’m freaking out. I’m hoping the swelling will cool down by the end of the day and I can switch it for a ring instead so the swelling won’t be so much a problem. Thank you
