I was looking through Reddit to see if anyone who filed in September ‘25 or later, from the 39 ban countries got approved or even had an interview yet and I didn’t find anything.

A little backstory I applied for my citizenship in the 90 days mark in September 2025 in NY. (so I didn’t wait for the full 5 years) I did biometrics in October and I haven’t heard anything since.

I know that this timeline is not too bad but what worried me was I officially joined the Air Force reserve in November 25 and I had a ship date in January 26 for August 26 but my job required citizenship which I was supposed to get regardless after basic training. About a month ago, they canceled my ship date because they didn’t believe I would get my citizenship before my ship date or even be issued to me after basic training like they promised.

The next job I was gonna get when I come back from the military required citizenship so my life is kinda on pause because of everything. So I’d like to know if anyone has had success in getting an interview or approval in that timeline please.
