When I bought my house the door on one side of the garage opened less than the other. Granted the ceiling causes one opener to be mounted lower. But on that opener, there is a longer piece at the top that appears to keep the door from opening 8” more than it appears it could is they used a regular roller. I’m 6’3” and my head hits the seal as I walk under it. Why did they put that on there and would putting a normal plate with a roller work?
