Fiberglass Fix?
Posted in here last month when I picked up my ‘94. Think I took the advice of “just drive it and enjoy it” a bit too far since I’ve put over 1,000 miles on it in less than 4 weeks…Absolutely in love with it. I just had a RetroSound Newport radio installed (doesn’t actually fit this car contrary to their customer support rep. Thankfully the audio shop were magicians), new speakers, and a hidden kill switch for the antenna. I don’t plan to do anymore mods but I am curious if anyone has had any small fiberglass work done to fix something like in my photo. As well as some minor scratches and rock chips on the front.
I know what I bought and that was a mechanically sound driver condition car. But I can’t help finding myself wanting to slowly bring it to “near perfect” as I plan to hold onto it forever. Is it worth the effort? Is this even a fixable area without out a full respray of the rear? Appreciate any suggestions!
