A pet peeve of mine is when people pronounce “during” like “deering”. I think it’s because it has sort of an aloof valley girl vibe to it.
I realize, of course, how very insignificant this annoyance is in the grand scheme of life, but I thought venting here would be the most cathartic and harmless way to channel it. Does anyone else’s eye twitch when they hear it?
