Mold in baby’s room 😩
Freaking out a bit. The other week my mom was in my baby’s room and she mentioned she accidentally knocked a humidifier off the table on to the floor and looks like it obviously wasn’t dried 😩 I didn’t even notice until I started smelling mildew in the room. We had a heavy plastic bin of baby clothes sitting on the rug and when I moved it I found all this mold underneath! We don’t use the room often except our infant does take naps in there sometimes, so now I feel even worse 😭 I threw out the rug and sprayed the carpet underneath with water & vinegar and turned the fan on. The carpet underneath was maybe a little bit damp from the rug, but who knows how wet it was for the last week or more when it spilled initially. If it was you would you get rid of the carpet too?? Should I call some mold professionals? We live in a fairly dry place and was only using the humidifier at the time when baby was sick and getting over a cold 😩
