Today it happened again: my friend from the friends quest gifted me a bonus. Which I couldn't use, since I just wanted to check what the notification was, but I didn't have time to practice at all. So that was a 15 minutes double xp bonus down the drain. Again.

Please, let us choose when to use our bonuses, instead of just activating them.

Since a week or so, I can't react to sentences my friends share anymore. No matter if I just want to give the standard emoji or one of the three other options, my reaction just disappears. I can congratulate people on achievements, however.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I reported it as a bug, but haven't heard of Duolingo yet.
