Hi everyone!
My girlfriend and I are driving from Spain for our very first 24 Hours of Le Mans! We have General Admission tickets and we’ll be staying at the Clos Fleury campsite. We are arriving on Thursday morning in a Peugeot 5008.
Since it's our first time, I would be delighted to hear any recommendations or anything that comes to mind that could help us make the most of this experience. We are open to all kinds of advice!
Beyond that, I have a few specific questions:
Pitch Space: Our spot is 35m². Will we be able to fit a Peugeot 5008 plus a medium tent and a gazebo/awning comfortably?
Campsite Strategy: Since we arrive Thursday morning, what part of Clos Fleury should we aim for? Any advice on the best orientation for the tent and car?
Viewing Spots: With General Admission, what are your favorite spots to watch the start and the night sessions? We don't mind walking!
The Essentials: We are bringing folding chairs, earplugs, comfortable shoes, and a radio. Is there any other "hidden gem" or item we should bring from Spain that people often overlook?
Food at the Circuit: How are the food stalls around the track? Any specific stalls or areas you recommend for a good meal during the race?
We are super excited to experience the atmosphere. Any tips, tricks, or "dos and don'ts" would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance and see you at the track!
