About 2 1/2 months ago I posted about my situation regarding being put on Overpayment due to an error with my caseworker at the time, but after an appeal it was overturned as they agreed it was on the caseworker. Since then I’ve asked my caseworker a few times about being reimbursed all the overpayment deductions that were taken out of my OW, about 3 months worth. Originally speaking to my caseworker at the time when it happened, they had said there would be “a really good chance” that I could get reimbursed, and then when speaking to their higher ups, they then confirmed I could get the amount reimbursed. Since then I had left 2 messages in the 2 months since on Mybenefits to no response. Last month I was assigned a new caseworker, and when I had asked them about it, I received an immediate response that I was not eligible to receive it, no reason provided and that if I would like to appeal I can. I asked for a reason and where to appeal and still haven’t received a response. It’s frustrating because if they had told me right away that I wouldn’t be able to receive it that would be okay, but they’ve kept my hopes up for 2-3 months now and the lack of communication sucks. Not complaining or anything, just wish they could give me a straight answer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you all for your time and have a great day!
